Made from the seeds of the Japanese camellia (Camellia japonica) plant, camellia oil is an excellent choice for lubricating your pruners, loppers and shears. It will also protect carbon steel blades from picking up rust.

This 100%, plant based oil is non toxic and remains viscous in cold weather, so it’s easy to apply and keeps your pruners snipping smoothly throughout the year.

We use this oil regularly on our own Japanese sickles and carbon steel Mora knives.

This 100 ml bottle will likely last the average gardener 3-5 seasons of use.
