Magna Grecia Hoe
Like a garden fork that you swing, the Magna Grecia Hoe utilizes its weight and velocity to drive the 10″ long tines into the ground. The flat blade can be used to clear vegetation before aerating, or afterward to break up any clods you may bring up. (Though I generally prefer a flat bladed grub hoe for these jobs)
Once beds are established, the Magna Grecia hoe can still be used to deeply aerate your soil prior to planting, and, as you see in the video, it can be used between rows to weed and cultivate.
Though not unbreakable, the Canadian Hickory handle is about as tough as they come.
